Lamb souvlaki

For an extra metabolism boost, try adding some chilli to this recipe.

Ingredients: 

1 tbsp of olive oil

2 garlic cloves, diced

1 brown onion, sliced

400g lamb steak, cut into strips

ground black pepper

1 red capsicum, sliced

1 yellow capsicum, sliced

1 lemon, juiced

3 cups of iceberg lettuce, shredded

4 wholemeal pita or tortilla wrap

¼ cup of tzatziki

 

Method:

1. In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the oil, garlic, onion and lamb. Season with pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes then add the capsicum.

2. When lamb has fully cooked, squeeze over lemon juice to taste and take off heat.

3. Assemble the souvlaki by layering the meat mix, lettuce and tzatziki over the pita or tortilla. Roll the tortilla and enjoy!!
