Sleep apnoea

Did you know that lack of good quality sleep can have a strong negative affect on your  health? This is particularly apparent if you have a sleep disorder called Sleep Apnoea which is characterized by abnormal pauses in breathing or instances of abnormally low breathing, during sleep.

It has been found that over a 14-year period, the risk of death for those with Sleep Apnoea was higher than those without this disorder. Adults over 18 years of ago need 7.5 – 9 hours of sleep to function properly and retain energy through the day.

If you encounter sleeping problems frequently and think that you may have Sleep Apnoea, then contact our health coaches who specialise in Weight Management, Stress and Resilience and Sleep. support@sisuwellness.com / 0845 519 6771.
