The research concluded that for every average glass of red wine consumed, there was a 4% reduction in the risk of developing lung cancer. The unique components resveratrol and flavonoids which are found in red wine are what makes it beneficial, so the same benefits are not associated with white wine or other alcoholic drinks.
These benefits linked to red wine are only effective when consumed in small quantities. It is very important to acknowledge the detrimental health effects of consuming too much wine…remember, everything in moderation!
