Smokers often believe that having a cigarette makes them feel happier and relieves tension, however, research suggests the opposite.

A study which analysed the relationship between wellbeing and smoking among 9,000 members of the British public discovered that smokers experienced lower average levels of pleasure and satisfaction with life than non-smokers. This combined with the detrimental effects smoking has on your health means that there is every reason to quit today!
